Scouts BSA is a year-round program for youth age 11–17 designed to build character, citizenship, and personal fitness through a vigorous outdoor program and peer group leadership with the counsel of an adult Scoutmaster. Scouting is the ultimate form of learning by doing. Scouts explore their interests and improve skills while working toward Scouting’s highest rank: Eagle.
Scouts BSA has a lot to offer, but don’t let the number of merit badges scare you away. With exposure to a uniquely hands-on learning experience and the opportunity to earn merit badges reflecting each Scout’s budding interests, youth unlock a world of discovery around them and forge a path for the future.
